Earlier today, the Federal Government tabled in Parliament its major piece of legislation aimed at replacing the current Workplace Relations Act.
Please note:
the legislation may be amended by the Government’s own initiative or in order to obtain the Senate’s support.
Over the coming days and weeks, we will summarise the new legislation in a series of articles analysing each of the major elements. Our first outline will be sent out tomorrow. That article will provide a very general overview of the new legislation.
Early in the new year we will be conducting a series of briefings that will explain the practical effects of the new laws.
