Warwick specialty is property law, particularly focusing on property leasing. Whether leasing is retail, commercial or industrial , Warwick is a strong advocate for fair and balanced relationships between landlord and tenant right. Warwick also has a particular awareness of legal interests in property and how to protect those interests.

A well considered heads of agreement will shape the debate on how your leasing relationship will develop.” Warwick’s strength is understanding the importance of starting a long term commercial relationships on the right foot. Involving Warwick in the early stages of leasing, asking the right questions before anything is signed and negotiating on key issues assist the parties to start out on that right foot. Warwick can help clients understand which issues are key and which are not.
Although Warwick is strongly involved in leasing for businesses, he has also been appointed to assist the OSBC in preparing a new form of Retail Lease that is a fair and balanced document and allows landlords and small businesses to get into leasing relationships with little fuss and balance terms. Warwick has also assisted a government department in the restructure of their property portfolios and has been the lawyer for various not for profits groups including large based rehabilitation centres and indigenous based service providers. Warwick was also the panel lawyer for the Waterfront Action Group, a group comprising of Sydney Harbour waterfront owners in their leasing relationships with Maritime.
